Step-by-step guides for a perfect mailbox installation.
Read all instructions completely before starting. Gather all required tools and check local regulations regarding mailbox placement and height requirements in your area.
Per USPS regulations, your mailbox should be installed at the right-hand side of the road in the direction of delivery. The bottom of the mailbox door should be 41–45 inches from the road surface.
Dig a hole approximately 18–24 inches deep and 8–10 inches in diameter. Exact dimensions may vary based on your mailbox model and local frost line depth. Check local building codes.
Place your post in the hole and ensure it is perfectly vertical using a level. Pour concrete mix into the hole and allow to cure for 24–48 hours before attaching the mailbox body.
Follow the specific assembly instructions included with your mailbox model. Use all provided hardware and ensure all connections are tight and secure.
Attach your floating house numbers at the specified height. For LED backlit numbers, follow the electrical connection guide included in your package.
